Earth Pressure Balance (EPB) TBM

Tunneling construction environment will be various in different cities and fields, especially in the cities of South China and Southwest China, in which the geological conditions are diverse, commonly encountering Mixed Ground (Upper Soft and Lower Hard Ground) and Full-Face Hard Rock Ground within certain section. Conventional shield machine could only tunnel under ideal characteristics stratum, and the advance rate and construction efficiency could not be maintained under mixed ground. Our Mixed EPB Shield Machine could not only mine under ideal ground with high advance rate and efficiency, but also mine under mixed characteristics stratum, such as Upper Soft and Lower Hard Ground, Pebbles, and Full-Face Hard Rock Ground, maintaining the same high advance rate and efficiency.
