The main construction section of Metro Line 19 is located in the old city of Beijing, and the construction difficulty is unprecedented. There are 1380 risk sources in the whole line, including 19 special risk sources and 433 first-level risk sources, with special first-level risk sources accounting for 32.7 per cent of the total risk sources. During the construction process, long distances pass through the South Third Ring Road, Ma Caohe River, Caoqiao bungalow area and other risk sources, with abundant groundwater, which is one of the most difficult sections of the whole line.
This connection is the left-line tunnel of the interval, and the right line parallel to it was previously connected on December 9. Since the construction of two shield machines with a diameter of 6.68 meters in this interval, our company has successively crossed the South 3rd Ring Road for a long distance of nearly 1 kilometer, and the traffic above has not been affected. Two fast and stable oblique crossing of the Macao River, the crossing distance is nearly 80 meters, during the crossing of the river the shallowest depth of only 6.73 meters. At the stage when the shield machine is approaching the end, it also overcomes the curve section with a turning radius of about 450 meters, just like a heavy-duty truck going through a 90-degree sharp turn.
