The coal mine roadheader uses the full-section cutterhead to break the rock into a roadway at one time, completely changing the problems of large energy consumption, low construction efficiency and poor safety of the traditional manual drilling and blasting method in the construction of the whole rock roadway, meeting the requirements of safety, environmental protection and rapidity of coal mine construction with a brand-new construction method, integrating the functions of tunneling, slag extraction, guidance, data acquisition, ground monitoring and so on, and meeting the MA certification, it realizes the balanced operation of tunneling, supporting, slag discharge and other construction processes, and can adapt to the excavation of various complex strata such as soft rock, hard rock, soft and hard interlaced. The average monthly footage is 500-800 meters, with a maximum monthly footage of 1000 meters.
Compared with the traditional drilling and blasting method and comprehensive excavation, the new construction method-TBM construction has absolute advantages in terms of tunneling efficiency, deformation control and construction safety. Its biggest characteristics are high degree of automation, saving manpower, fast construction speed, high precision, and one-time hole formation, which is 3-10 times faster than the drilling and blasting method. The use of TBM for long-distance coal mine rock roadway construction can greatly reduce the construction period and greatly save the cost of water, electricity, materials and labor in the construction process.
TBM is equipped with anchor drilling machine, and the laying of mesh is carried out at the same time of tunneling, so as to support in time. Compared with the traditional drilling and blasting method, TBM can cause less damage to the surrounding rock, which can be controlled within 5%, further reducing the scope of crack damage, and is conducive to controlling the deformation of the surrounding rock.
During the TBM tunneling, the construction personnel work under the protection of the shield machine shell and the operation chamber, which can prevent the collapse of the surrounding rock and provide a safer space. The TBM construction can effectively avoid the safety accidents caused by blasting. At the same time, TBM has dust removal, ventilation and drainage systems, which greatly improves the working environment and reduces the damage of dust and harmful gases to the human body. Due to the high degree of mechanization, many processes do not require manual operation, reducing the labor intensity and accident rate of workers.
