According to the amount of rock, diameter size, strength and characteristics of rock conditions can choose flat or semicircular cutter head.
● Broken in front, or swallowed
The shape of the open slot of the cutter head includes the front crushing type in which the gravel is crushed in front of the cutter head and swallowed into the soil compartment, and the swallowing type in which the large gravel is swallowed into the soil compartment as much as possible.
● Selection of Hob
In the hard rock formation, the hob with rich use performance in TBM is used. In order to extend the life of the cutterhead in the gravel layer, hobs with built-in superhard blades are used. These hobs can be easily replaced inside the soil compartment.
