LNSS is a pioneer in tunneling and has made new achievements in Chengdu Metro.
On January 17, the shielding section from Zhangjiasi Station, which was built by the 14th Tender Section of the first and the second phases of the Chengdu Metro Line 6 by LNSS, to the right line of Zhonghe Station was successfully penetrated.
The Tender Section was contracted by Liaoning North Railway Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of LNSS, which applied the EPB TBM with a diameter of 6.28 meters. It is composed of two stations and three sections with a total length of 2164 meters. Composite stratum accounts for more than 70% of this stratum, which is difficult to bore and is likely to cause collapse. The maximum longitudinal slope is 28.5‰. In the end, we have built a high-quality project where the accumulated subsidies of all risk sources are less than 3mm, and the formed segments are almost free of damage and leakage, and the hole-through nodes are completed in advance.
