Chun Long's Head of Fortune | "Chengzi No.3" Shield Machine of 33 Industry Launched Successfully

On March 3, the T8230 composite earth pressure balance shield machine "Chengzi No.3" designed and manufactured by Liaoning Sansan Industry Co., Ltd. started smoothly in the section between Ziyang North Station and Baotai Avenue on Ziyang S3 Line of Chengdu Rail Transit. The launch of the shield marks the full-scale construction of the underground section of Chengdu-Ziyang S3 line, and sets a benchmark for the Chengdu urban rail transit Chengmei S5 line (Tianfu New District-Meishan City), Chengde S11 line (Weijianian-Deyang City) and the other 16 urban rail transit projects to be built in Chengdu urban rail transit network planning (2021 Edition) to be started in 2022.

This T8230 composite earth pressure balance shield machine has set a fast production record. The whole process took 145 days from design, manufacturing, transportation, assembly, debugging and starting, and only 88 days to complete production in the 3rd industrial plant. The on-site installation and commissioning coincided with the Spring Festival of the Year of the Tiger. The Sansan Industrial Service Team gave up reuniting with their families and successfully completed the installation and commissioning work, ensuring the scheduled departure.

In the follow-up excavation, "Chengzi No.3" will pass through the complex strata such as moderately weathered mudstone and gravel sandstone, and will overcome the construction difficulties such as upper soft and lower hard, cutter head and mud cake, maintain efficient excavation and successfully complete the excavation task.
