On September 6, 2022, the world's first set of dual-mode hard rock TBM "Longhe No.1" designed and manufactured by Liaoning Sansan Industrial Co., Ltd. passed the acceptance and went off the production line smoothly. In early autumn and September, the sky was clear, the 3rd industrial assembly workshop was clean and bright, colorful flags were hung high, the brand-new "Longhe No.1" TBM was ready to go, and the equipment cutterhead showed the pattern of dragon and crane encircling, with Xing'an Mountains and Songhua River as the background, implying that "Longhe No.1" had been traveling thousands of miles in the construction of coal mine roadway, creating brilliance.

Coal is a national strategic resource, which is related to the national economy, people's livelihood and energy security. As an important national commercial coal production base and one of the three major domestic coking coal production bases, Longmei Group actively responds to the requirements of "mechanization, intelligence, less people, and environmental protection" of mining equipment proposed by the National Mine Safety Supervision Administration. In the forefront of the domestic industry. The "Longhe No.1" TBM offline is applied to the five-level extension project of Xing 'an Coal Mine of Hegang Mining Industry of Longmei Group, with a total length of 8000 meters. It passes through No.30 and No.33 double outburst coal seams and F1 and F9 fault zones. The geological conditions are complex, the technology is difficult and the construction risks are high.
In view of the difficulties in the project, Sansan Industry and Hegang Mining Company jointly tackled key problems and designed "Longhe No.1" as an open hard rock and shield dual-mode TBM with an excavation diameter of 5.83 meters. It integrates tunneling, assembling segments, anchor net support, slag extraction, dust removal, ventilation, laser guidance, advanced detection and explosion prevention. Able to dig under the condition of pitch angle 20 and turning radius of 50 meters; with good geological conditions, the two-mode free switching function of implementing open tunneling mode and assembling segment tunneling mode in loose and fracture zones is realized. The whole section of the coal mine roadway is broken into a roadway, the simultaneous operation of digging and anchoring and the rapid excavation of hard rock in the roadway are realized, and the maximum monthly footage can reach 500 meters. The key technologies of the equipment, such as up and down large slope, small turning radius and dual-mode tunneling function, have filled the gaps at home and abroad, and led to major technological changes in coal mine roadway construction.
