On May 1, at the happy moment of celebrating the May 1st International Labor Day, exciting news came from the construction site of the 5th bid of the civil engineering of the second phase of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 4. The shield machine of the 3rd Industrial "Fusheng" achieved a monthly tunneling of 393 rings and 590 meters, creating the latest monthly tunneling record of Chongqing Metro, and presenting a gift to the May 1st International Labor Day with outstanding performance!
Chongqing, a mountain city with ups and downs and rivers, is located in the special geological landform of karst trough valley. It has to face the IV sandstone mountain, challenge the excavation limit of the super-high section of the curve, and ensure that there is no settlement through the backfilled loose strata, which brings great challenges to the normal construction and excavation of the "Fusheng.
In the face of difficulties, Sansan Industrial innovatively designed and meticulously manufactured a 6880-type composite TBM, challenging the complex underground space of the mountain city of Chongqing. Throughout April, the "Fusheng" shield machine tunnelled bravely, achieving brilliant achievements of 10 rounds per shift, 393 rounds per month and 590 meters per month, creating the latest monthly tunneling record for shield machines in the history of Chongqing subway construction.
In view of the complex geological conditions in the middle open-cut section (right line) from Wangjiacheng Station to Shengji Fort Station, Sansan Industry ensures the overcoming of high-hardness rock mass and the efficiency of rock breaking by strengthening the structural strength of 6880-type composite TBM cutter head and reasonable arrangement of tools. The powerful thrust of the configuration provides a guarantee for the equipment to dig in the large slope formation, and the unique high torque performance solves the driving problem in the pressure holding process. The after-sales service team of the equipment has won high recognition from customers with high-quality service and received a pennant.
