A few days ago, the contact channel independently developed by Sanshan Industry successfully started on Tianjin Metro Line 10 with an earth pressure balance shield machine with a diameter of 3.5 meters, officially serving the construction of No.1 contact channel between Liulin Road Station and Huanyu Road Station, realizing a major technological breakthrough in fully mechanized construction in the narrow space of the contact channel.

The successful application of the small diameter earth pressure balance shield machine for the three-three industrial connection channel in Tianjin subway will strongly promote the rapid development of the entire underground engineering including the transportation, municipal and water conservancy tunnel connection projects, and become a new technical option for the connection channel construction. In the connection channel between the subway and highway, the subway entrance and exit and air shaft, the maintenance shaft of the municipal pipe gallery, and the air shaft in the middle of the long tunnel, it is widely used in underground connection projects such as water tunnel connection lines.
