On December 28, the Ninth Congress of Liaoyang Science and Technology Association was solemnly held in Liaoyang Zhonghua Hall. Liu Shuangzhong, chief technical expert of Sansan Industry, attended the meeting as a representative of outstanding scientific and technological workers in Liaoyang City, and was elected vice chairman of Liaoyang Science and Technology Association.

Liu Shuangzhong, chief technical expert of Sansan Industry, attended the meeting as a representative of outstanding scientific and technological workers in Liaoyang City, and was elected vice chairman of Liaoyang Science and Technology Association.

 
 
 
The team led by Liu Shuangzhong has successively won the Liaoning Provincial Governor Quality Award, the First Prize of Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Liaoning Provincial Enterprise Major R & D Achievement Award. Under his leadership, Sansan Industry wholly acquired CTCC, a subsidiary of Caterpillar in the world's top 500 in 2014, and obtained the world's leading shield machine manufacturing technology. Today, Sansan Industry is a national-level high-tech enterprise, a national-level intellectual property advantage enterprise, and a national-level technological innovation demonstration enterprise. It has a national shield machine/TBM tunnel boring machine engineering research center, and a Chinese tunnel boring machine industrial design center. Academician workstations, postdoctoral workstations, four research and design institutes have been established in Liaoyang, Toronto, Shenyang, and Wuhan. Three three industrial products are widely used in the field of infrastructure construction represented by the subway and the field of mine energy construction represented by coal mines, and are exported to North America, the European Union and other overseas markets, especially the "Belt and Road" countries and regions.
