At 9: 58 on July 13, 2022, at the construction site of Ziyang S3 line of Chengdu rail transit, with the foam gushing out, the 8230mm diameter composite earth pressure balance shield machine designed and manufactured by Liaoning Sansan industry co., ltd. successfully pushed open the portal, and the 1428 m tunneling task between Ziyang north station and Baotai avenue was successfully completed.

"Chengzi No.3" started on March 3, 2022. It has been constructed for 133 days under complex geological conditions. It has passed through severe strata such as medium-weathered mudstone and gravel sandstone. It has overcome construction difficulties such as upper soft and lower hard, cutter head mud cake and so on. It has always maintained high-efficiency tunneling. The highest daily tunneling is 16 rings, the highest monthly tunneling is 408 meters, and the average monthly tunneling is 360 meters, creating an 8-meter-class shield tunneling record in Chengdu subway construction history.
