Three three industrial diameter 8.8 m composite TBM smoothly off the production line

On July 19, 2022, the 8.8-meter diameter composite TBM designed and manufactured by Liaoning Sansan Industry Co., Ltd. passed the factory acceptance and was successfully offline in Liaoyang production and manufacturing base.
The composite TBM cutterhead has a diameter of 8.8 meters, a fuselage length of 94 meters, and a weight of about 1000 tons. It is used for the bid section of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 15 Phase I Xiuhu Road Station-Chongqing Airport T3 Terminal Station. It needs to pass through Yubei Administrative Service Center, Shuanglong Lake Bridge gravity abutment and arch seat, Shuanglong Lake, Longtongue Lake, Rail Transit Line 3 viaduct, T3 Terminal Airport runway, etc., and finally enter T3 terminal, there are many major risk sources in the interval, and the geological conditions are extremely complex.
According to the characteristics of large buried depth, large drop, 2847 m long downhill, moderately weathered sandstone and moderately weathered sandy mudstone strata in this bid section, Sansan Industry has carried out an overall and targeted design for the composite TBM in terms of sealing pressure resistance, wear resistance, mud cake prevention, gushing prevention and efficient tunneling, equipped with super-large driving power and advanced laser guiding system, and optimized PLC electrical system, hydraulic system, etc, ensure the safe and rapid crossing of major risk sources such as Shuanglong Lake, Longtongue Lake, key buildings and airport runways, and successfully complete the tunneling task.
