On July 21, the China Tunnel and Underground Space Conference and the China (Urban) Underground Space Society Preparatory Conference with the theme of "Optimizing the Development and Utilization of Underground Space and Improving the Quality of Smart City Construction" was grandly held at the Hyatt Hotel Shenzhen Airport. The conference was held in a combination of offline and online, with more than a thousand participants, and was the largest underground space professional event held during the outbreak. Shenzhen Metro, Guangzhou Metro, Dongguan Rail Transit, Foshan Railway Investment, Nanning Rail Transit and other industry authorities, as well as China Railway, China Railway Construction, China Construction, China Communications Construction, China Power Construction and other group leaders attended the event.
The meeting was presided over by Mr. Chen Xiangsheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, and dean of the School of Civil and Transportation Engineering of Shenzhen University. Song Yan, deputy director of Shenzhen Housing and Construction Bureau, Huang Liping, general manager of Shenzhen Metro Group Co., Ltd., and Mao Junfa, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and president of Shenzhen University, delivered speeches successively.
At the meeting, the academicians and masters gave wonderful special lectures. Academician Qian Qihu, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and winner of the National Highest Science and Technology Award, was unable to attend the "August 1st Medal" award meeting because he was preparing to attend the "August 1st Medal" award meeting. He specially adopted an online method to teach and jointly discussed the urban construction in the new era under the dual carbon goal. Mr. Nie Jianguo, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a foreign academician of the Japanese Academy of Engineering, gave a lecture entitled "Civil Engineering Safety Issues and Their Countermeasures"; Mr. Chen Xiangsheng, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, gave a lecture entitled "Challenges and Reflections on the Development of Urban Underground Space in my country" Lecture; mr. Wang Fuming, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, gave a lecture entitled "Development of Water Disaster Prevention Technology for Underground Engineering and Progress in the Construction of the Pilot Base of Badao Hospital. Other masters, experts also gave wonderful reports.
Sansan Industry attended the meeting as a co-organizer of the conference. Xu Yanping, vice president of Sansan Industrial Research and Design Institute, gave a theme report entitled "Crossing the Continent and Challenging Difficult Strata", sharing the characteristics and advantages of Sansan Industrial Shield Machine. The design concept of the three-three industrial shield machine is unique, and its consistent high-power and high-torque design ensures strong propulsion power. The special cutter head structure, cutter configuration and targeted design make the shield machine especially good at tunneling in complex composite strata. During the meeting, Vice President Xu Yanping had extensive technical exchanges with participating scientific research institutes, design units and industry experts. He introduced new products and technologies such as San San Industrial Vertical Shield Machine, Coal Mine Roadway Tunneling Machine, Rapid Intelligent Tunneling System, Drainage and Storage Guide Tunneling Machine, and shared the case achievements of San San Industrial Service in the fields of large infrastructure, large mines and large energy.
